Emily married us in a sweet, intimate ceremony, for just the two of us, prior to our wedding with our family. She was kind, caring, and very thoughtful in her communications prior to the ceremony and in the beautiful words she prepared. Her welcoming and kind spirit was exactly what we needed to usher us in to our marriage.

When we decided to get married, we were at a loss as to who to choose as an officiant. Neither of us has any religious connection and we wanted to find someone who could perform a ceremony that felt authentic to who we were. 

 

Emily was an excellent choice. The ceremony that she wrote was lighthearted, which matched the tone of the wedding, and had many personal details. Before drafting the ceremony, she wanted to hear from us about our story to make sure that each individual's perspective was represented. Throughout the process she was very communicative; it was exciting and reassuring to be able to review a draft of the ceremony ahead of time. 

 

When we look back on our ceremony today, after seven years and three children, her words still ring true.

Emily went above and beyond for our wedding. My husband and I first met at work, and Emily was a co-worker. Emily got to know both of us as individuals and a couple so this made the experience even more personal. When we got engaged we knew we didn't want just anyone officiating the wedding. We immediately contacted Emily and asked if she would perform our ceremony. She agreed and we got to work on what we wanted. We did not want anything long or super religious. When we met to go over things, she knew us so well that we didn't need to give her a lot of info. The ceremony was amazing and we laughed, cried and laughed some more. She incorporated our love for Disney, my husband's daughter, and my husband's mother who had passed the previous year. It was beautiful. We have recommended Emily to all of our friends and family who are looking to get married. Such an easy process when you have a million things on your wedding to do list.

Emily did a fantastic job for our wedding! She was very organized and incorporated her great sense of humor throughout the ceremony. She was able to put all of us in the wedding party calm and at ease. Our guests were very impressed by her thoughtfulness and efficient manner and thoroughly enjoyed her service.
